Junior Scientist Programme

THE JUNIOR SCIENTIST program pioneered by Navadarsan is to make science learnt more meaningfully, interestingly and joyfully for the 8th, 9th and 10th standard students. We started this course in 2015. The effort has been made to include activities which are focused on different areas and concepts given in NCERT textbook of science class. It is envisaged that after the performance of these activities, students will be able to understand the concepts better by internalizing them which will ultimately motivate them to become junior scientist and there y lead them into research field.

In this respect we are collaborating with St Alberts College, St Theresas’s College and St Xavier’s college. Students are using these college’s Labs with the guidance of HOD’s and the professors’ of each departments. Chemistry, Physics, zoology, Micro biology, Fisheries and Aqua-culture, Space Science, Botany etc…
